I built New England Swimming Holes because I kept planning weekends around cold water—chasing reliable directions, parking that still matched the map, and a straight answer about whether a spot was worth the drive. The guides are written for that moment: you have a day, you want the trailhead and the swim lane to line up with reality.

The site stays independent—no sponsored “best of” lists dressed up as reporting. When a gate changes, a trail erodes, or a description reads wrong after you visit, I want to hear it. Those notes are how the next person’s trip stays honest.
