Parking
Small pull-off, not a full lot—arrive early on warm weekends. Park only where it is clearly allowed; do not block the road, gates, or driveways. If it feels tight, assume neighbors are watching and come back another time.
Driving approach
Work from Stowe toward the Smugglers Notch corridor and the Bingham Falls trailhead neighborhood. Last miles are narrow—slow down, watch for walkers, and follow posted signs.
GPS clarification
Apps often land you near Stowe village or somewhere along the Notch without matching the pull-off. Use the Map page coordinates and your own judgment on the last approach.

Seasonal note. Snowmelt in spring pushes flow and noise; mid-summer often looks gentler at the surface but the water is still mountain-cold. Peak foliage weekends add cars; winter means ice, short days, and a riskier approach.
